I'll take Cousins over Jimmy. Better arm, more accurate.

You are getting desperate.

That's what mediocrity at the QB position does to fans. Anyway, Cousins is probably a little better (stats suggest it, with his 35 TD, 13 INT season, 4265 yard season; and so does the eye test by looking at his arm, which is obviously more accurate on deep balls), but Cousins comes with that albatross of a contract. And he's 33.
Rather of Kurt Cousins.

The only reason I don't want Cousins is I know on game day there will be so many posters says "nice pass Kurt" or "Kurt sucks" and I'll be getting slightly triggered every damn time someone says it. It's like when someone says use Mayo instead of butter to make a grilled cheese. Like shut the f**k up and do it right.

damn.
who tf does that?!

Had to look it up. Didn't know that was a thing

Remember that post-game interview at the end of the season (I think when the 49ers beat the Broncos) that Frank Gore did that if you played with closed captioning, it translated him to saying something about Santa and the Clutz Nazis?

Yo this the post of the year so far. WTF
It won't ever die

"Yeah, there's been this Kirk Cousins talk, and I guess something could happen," Schefter told Guy Haberman and John Middlekauff, "but I haven't heard that's the case, so I don't know where that's coming from."
You know... after doing some research, a trade for the Vikings wouldn't be the most nonsensical thing in the world like I originally thought.

The Vikings are hurting for cap space—bottom 7 in the league in combined 2021-2022 cap space (about $25.6M). If the WORST-CASE scenario happens for them, and they trade Cousins for Jimmy and Jimmy stinks in 2021, they can cut Jimmy afterwards and ultimately still save $31M in cap space in comparison to keeping Cousins just a month and a half from today; this would effectively more than double their combined 2021-22 cap space in comparison to holding on to Cousins.

Basically, the Vikings could gain draft capital (even if it's just a 2nd) and $31M in cap space just from going from Cousins to Jimmy. Drafting a rookie this year and letting him sit behind Jimmy could be great for them.

Finally, if the Vikings CUT Cousins instead of trade him in mid-March, they would would save themselves from the $45M cap hit in 2022, but they would add a $10M cap hit instead of gaining an $11M
cap hit, so cutting instead of trading would cost them $21M. So a reasonable incentive for them to trade instead of cut.

In 2017, the Texans GAVE a 2nd round pick just to save $10M in cap space. This move would save the Vikings a net $31M in cap space if they get Jimmy back and he stinks it up for them (and a trade instead of a cut makes a $21M difference)

Ok, it makes sense for the Vikings, but I'm the Niners FO the only way I take on the cap hit for Kirk is if you ship me a nice pick. Like, swap our second for their first
Would be so dumb, wouldn't even give up a 6th for this scrub, career loser
