Stafford for what was looking like 2nds and 2 3rds was a homerun trade IMO. He could be restructured as well. His $21M and $23M in 2021/2022 is much better than Kirk's $21M and $35M, no? And I don't care what the Kirk stans say, he can't hold Stafford's jock strap.

Yeah, Stafford is better than Cousins. A lot of people are going to have some crow to eat if Stafford stays healthy, because he's going to have a hell of a season. All that would prevent the Rams from cruising to the Super Bowl is the players they're going to have to cut due to the salary cap situation. We'll see how that goes, but Stafford isn't retiring after this seasons. He'll still be there in two years, and maybe they'll have better control of their cap then.

The only reason I don't want Cousins is I know on game day there will be so many posters says "nice pass Kurt" or "Kurt sucks" and I'll be getting slightly triggered every damn time someone says it. It's like when someone says use Mayo instead of butter to make a grilled cheese. Like shut the f**k up and do it right.

Ugh. I would hope we'd at least consider trying to do a trade with the Jets, giving them extra 1's they could use for Watson, and then we can get Wilson.

But that's an uber pipe dream too.

The only way I'd be happy with a Cousins trade is if he comes here with one of these...an extra high draft pick, Harrison Smith, Anthony Harris, or Danielle Hunter.

Shouldn't the Vikings have to give something of value to just get someone to take that contract off their hands? But yet I am hearing they want a 1st RD pick lol.

Cousins is coming off the best season of his career, I don't get the feeling that they are at all desperate to trade him. They had a Top 10 offense with Cousins at QB and this as their OL:



A lot went wrong for them last season. Cousins was among the least of their problems.
