What was his disgusting play the last few years? He played very poorly in 2020. In 2019 he threw for 4,000 yards and had 27 TD's and 7 INT's, similar numbers to Garoppolo and that was a DOWN year for him. For his career his INT % is 2.0. Garoppolo comes in at 2.7. Russell Wilson is 1.9. You're throwing way too much hyperbole around.
Very poorly is giving him credit lol. He was f**king awful this yr.
dude throws play calls in the trash and goes rouge. He holds onto the ball wayyy too long. He never takes accountability for anything and blames others. He can't handle competition, clearly. I thought he was a good old christian boy from North Dakota, who likes to hunt/fish. He sounds more like a diva/entitled brat lol.
He's super talented and maybe a change of scenery changes all that. That's a big freaking risk though. He could destroy a locker room just as well.
Oooo thank you NY. I guess I wasn't exaggerating all that much and the fact that stats can be very misleading especially with quarterbacks like Wentz. I seem to recall him overthrowing wide-open receivers quite a bit, holding the ball way too long and getting a ton of prevent yards bc he was a main reason they were behind playing in the easiest division. Don't they have 3 pro bowlers on their OL as well? (I know this year they had injuries)

Rather than Wentz I would rather have Hurts. But just a reminder of the cost of the trade up for this guy, they traded 2016 No. 13 overall pick, CB Byron Maxwell and LB Kiko Alonzo for the 8th overall pick, then they traded that pick and the 2016 third-round pick, 2016 fourth-round pick, 2017 first-round pick and 2018 second-round pick for the 2016 2nd overall pick which they used on Wentz.
He started off well, but your franchise qb, who you have traded so much to get, ought to last a little longer. These mega deals for the high picks for drafting the top quarterbacks don't seem to be that successful.

You are right. Look at the price the Skins paid for RG3. Huge gamble.
