Marcus Mariota

How trade for Mariota. KYLES offense works good with a mobile quaterback. Mariota is available we can trade a 5th for him.

I like Mariota. He'll probably get released now that Carr looks the way he looks to free up some money. I like Darnold as well. 49ers will have options if they want to move from Garoppolo's money.

They can get a guy like Fitzpatrick or Flacco and draft a guy with the 1st round pick to develop or they can go with a guy like Mariota or Darnold and draft a guy in the 2nd round.

Which would be an improvement on an affordable deal.

Would love to get him
NO!! thats a BIG NO!!!
YESSSS! Only if he gets released. Screw that Vegas team.
I don't think Mariota was ever that great, but he's done now with that nerve issue in his arm. Sadly, it's over for him. His arm strength wasn't that great to start, but its devolved into a literal noodle arm.
If he's a cheap vet signing then sure but no investments.
I like Marcus Mariota, but this is a terrible idea. In 5 years with the Titans, he never managed to play a full season and in retrospect, I think the broken leg he suffered towards the end of 2016 really did him in from a psychological standpoint. Jon Gruden was also a huge fan of Mariota's coming out of college and he signed him to a big incentive-laden deal (up to $38 million, if I remember correctly) in the summer, but Mariota suffered yet another injury in training camp after already having had ankle surgery in spring. He's healthy now, but has been demoted to third string behind NATHAN PETERMAN! I'm sorry to say it, but he looks just about done and will probably be out of the league within the next 2-3 years.
