After next year I see him leaving, no way Jordan Love is ready. Just my opinion

$31M dead money cap hit for 2021 too. they would need to wait for 2022.

Sorry but taking 31 mil cap hit to save 5.5 to not have the league MVP on your team. This is all just make my b******t meter go crazy

.

DM hit is there regardless, he could pull a Farve and "retire" and basically ask to be moved.

Gimme Stafford. He'd cost the least in terms of traded assets and is ready to go, unlike a rookie.

Oh I agree but, if there's a player that can dictate where he's gonna go it's him.

Rogers only gonna cost $5M next yr in a trade, I have no idea what it would cost to get him...if he's gonna pull a Carson Palmer or Favre I could see the 12th overall pick being it. SF or bust for our Cali 49er homer in Rogers lol.

Yeah, he can pretty much call where he wants to play.

So the Packers will trade away their current MVP, take on $31M in dead cap, have nobody in the wings to replace him (assuming Love is as bad as being reported) and of all teams, trade him to an NFC rival that LeFluer knows the system of and knows Rodgers would thrive in?

Do you really think the Packers are going to just spit on their Super Bowl window like this?

Where does it say the cap hit for the trading team in 2021? What I saw was what the avg cap hit would be for the remainder of his construct?

What I'm seeing is they will have Rogers on the books for over $30M in 2021 regardless of what they do next yr...they do save $70M in cap space in 2022/2023 which just means you structure any new contract to reflect off those savings.

No QB? They spent a 1st on one, same thing they did with Rogers...they save $70M in cap space in 2022/2023, we're all smart enough to know how the FO
works with structuring contracts. Low cap hit this yr massive payouts when you freed up $40M in 2022 with Rogers off the books. They gotta pay him regardless.

It's not really about who they want to trade him too...if he wants to go to SF then that's where he's gonna go. You think he's gonna agree to play for the Colts? I don't. If he's truly done in GB he will be in charge of it happening. If not maybe he retires. Then you're stuck paying him a f**k ton of money (higher cap hit in 2021) and get no compensation. Carson Palmer did it.

GB f**ked themselves buy giving Rogers an extension (and restructuring) only to draft a QB (and not giving him help on offense) they made their bed and now have to lie in it.

All that said, I think it's more him being emotional about the situation...Rogers is different though he might just be done.
i say NO to Rodgers, NO to Stafford, NO to Watson, NO to Brady, NO to Darnold, NO to Mullens, NO to Wilson.

YES TO JIMMY GEEEEZUS BABY!!!
