One thing a talking head mentioned was that Deshaun won't go to 49ers because he was upset that 49ers didn't pick him in 2017. Wouldn't Rodgers have the same issue?

Regarding Rodgers I have heard it said that Rodgers was carrying a grudge, but as he was taken 24th, he is going to have problems finding another team! I think you will find that players are, on the whole, more pragmatic than fans.

The 49ers albeit acquiring a future HOF, is going to inherit Rodgers contract at age 37, when the whole point of all this is to get a younger impact player at QB on a rookie contract, so they can balance out the Trent Williams, George Kittle, and Warner & Bosa extensions?
