I like this ! those are some dogs maybe even start them at RG. Man i hope RT can step up this year and work on his pass blocking.
This may have already been said...I'd like the Niners to get a seasoned, mean fu*ker at C...someone who also has talent, someone like what we saw in Jensen yesterday.

Or, Alex Mack will do along with a good young C/IOL in this coming draft.
i think 49ers need to look into trading away mcglinch hes just not good enough pass pro

That wouldn't be such a bad idea it's just that our coach values him as a run blocker because he is top three in the NFL at run blocking but I would guess close to the very bottom at pass pro. I think Brunskill is a better pass protector than Mike M by a decent amount. He proved it in 2019. Hopefully he'll put on some weight so he doesn't get punked by 250 pound linebackers

Trading a guy after a down season would be one of the dumbest things they could do. You're not going to get anything close to reasonable compensation and create another hole to fill in the process. We've seen McGlinchey play better in the past and he'll be playing for a new contract. Pretty reasonable to believe that they'll aim for maintaining some sort of stability on the OL and hoping that McGlinchey putting in work during the offseason will pay off.

so risk him creaming any qb we have ? its not all about returns on value everytime

I'm sure they have a plan for McGlinchey to try to get him back on track. He played well in his previous two seasons so this could just be an aberration. I do know that it doesn't make any sense to create new holes for the team when they already have plenty to fill this offseason. At this point you're not going to get a whole lot for McGlinchey. A 4th or 5th rounder might be it and that is why you don't sell low on a player. The 49ers will get more value out of rolling the dice on him improving his play next season than getting a mid round draft pick that you'll use on what, another Justin Skule?

when he was playing at his best he would have a game every other game where guys would just blow by him and cream jimmy but if he adds a ton of weight muscle and fat then yes your right he would be better to keep for the sake of having so many holes to fill on the roster but he still scares the s**t out of me especially if we unload a boatload of value for watson
