Alex Mack. He should be willing to take a below market deal to reunite with Shanahan in SF. And if Richburg does come back healthy, put him at RG.

Williams-Tomlinson-Mack-Richburg-McGlinchey w. Brunskill, McKivitz, and a rookie as depth. Skule can be our PS OL vet guy.

Mack is at an age where he doesn't need to take less money to play. He's got a lot of mileage on his body and has made good money in his career. If anything, you have to entice him with good money for him to play another season. That said, I hope you are right.

Draft a project at Center, sign Mack as a stop gap.

There is a chance that Mike Pouncey, Linsley or David Andrews from the Pats make the street. We don't have to go all in on Mack. A lot of mileage on those tires and I am not a fan of another high injury risk fill in if it can be helped. Talk to all of them and see who can be had for the lowest year one cap hit and get through COVID cap year intact. Sort out the rest later.
Much rather see them draft one of the top C's...much more cost effective than another FA, particularly this off-season. Time to grow their own to increase the cap space and continuity. There are some gems in this draft.

This is a great class for center but when we look at FA now we should be looking for these older players who are at the end of their careers but still playing at a high level. Why? Because we still need to sign Trent, Fred, and Nick Bosa and older players will be open to shorter deals like I think Mack would be.
Trey Hill in the 2nd can be our RG or C of the future. Dude is a mauler.

I heard the Eagles are expected to cut C Jason Kelce.
Alex Mack. Yes, old. May retire. Even retired he'd be an upgrade over Richie Rich.

They are like 85 skillion gajillion dollars over the cap. Makes sense.

I'd imagine if he keeps playing, he'd land on the Chiefs to play alongside with his brother. Upgrade their iOL.
Love to sign Mack and draft someone who can learn under him for a year
There are only a few specific positions that warrant taking up large percentages on the cap. Center is one of them.
Doesn't Shanahan like his Center to be a seasoned vet and not a rookie?
