I posted in the off season to not depend on Richburgs return. His injury is worse than an ACL and can be a career ender. They need to move on. Got to give niners credit for Garland as the stop gap, but they should've moved on all together and found/drafted permanent replacement. Richburg/Dee/Kwon are using up too much valuable cap space and handcuffing this team.

I thought Lloyd Cushenberry would have been a solid fit on this team. He's playing well for Denver.

I concur. These 3 guys are killing the team salary cap wise and we restructured all 3

The niners didn't have a 3rd round pick. Besides, they would never draft IOL.

I hope Grasu works out. Would save us from having to take Center.

He's a career backup. If they are depending on him for anything beyond being a temporary solution, they are screwing up. Center should absolutely be addressed in the upcoming draft. Richburg may never be reliably healthy and Garland honestly shouldn't be on an NFL roster.

I agree we need to draft a center, just hopefully not so high. Middle to late rounds would be great.
Maybe Grasu finally found a system he could do well in. I hope I am right and you are wrong.
If he fails then yes top 2 rounds should be priority for a center.

Grasu looks promising. Maybe this box has already been ticked?

Played well last night. Said he finally is part of a scheme that fits his skill set.
Still need to draft a future center at some pt.

Well, I am happy to spend a highish pick, say 2nd or 3rd, on a C/G. We can't draft based on the needs created by injuries this season, so I hope they will give Grasu an extended run this season to make an assessment of him. Actually with the way players are falling like flies I don't imagine that they have any choice! But I used to like the way they brought on their centers by giving them a year or two at guard. The interior O line needs help, though. Apart from more edge, and you can never have too much, it is the position of most need for me. Get Bosa and Ford back and the db's will look a lot better.

Agreed, but he'll likely be gone in the 1st round

Grasu played pretty damn well week 1
Agree
Richbourg is good BUT mostly unavailable.
We could use a long-term solution there.
Maybe Grasu could develop into one?

Grasu has the talent. The guy was a third round pick.

Greg Mancz
Ryan Kalil - stop gap
Are a some I would sign.

Alex Mack - Have a feeling the 9ers will sign the 35 year old Center.
Corey Linsley
