He will, but he shouldn't. But alas, this is the position the team has put itself in and beggars cant be choosers

With all of these teams going into a bidding war, do you think it will be easier for the 49ers to sign the next best C in free agency? Who would you consider 2nd best fit for the 49ers

Connor McGovern, Center for the Bills is also a free agent. Well. IMO. he is, till someone breaks out PFF numbers.

Id agree with McGovern. Where as Linderbaum is an elite run blocker with serviceable pass blocking, McGovern is a better pass protectors than run blocker.

If the team wants a budget option, id really give Brady Christensen a shot, tho id rather sign him to play left guard for a year and pay up for the top option at center

Really hoping the 9ers get a shot at one of these top Centers. Shanahan knows he's gotta fix this O-line, he's not fooling anyone with Jake Brendel anymore. I wonder how much Christensen is asking for? I would absolutely love it if they actually spent money to fix the O-line instead of taking the cheap route.

my plan would be:

1. trade for a WR... Jefferson (go all out for JJ if possible), AJ Brown - if not them then Addison... do not overpay for Jennings
2. prioritize OL in FA : Linderbaum and Bitonio would be ideal
3. draft defense - it's a good year for pass rusher, first two picks should be edge

9ers will get outbid by another team. 27th pick is just too low. 49ers will also need to give up their 2nd round pick too. I just don't see a trade for Jefferson happening at all, it restricts the team from adding young players.

I'd be pretty surprised if they did. Only because I think Morris favors more the lighter pass rushers.

lol

I know he's been injured and obviously he would need to pass a physical. But when healthy he's been pretty solid.
Bryant is my pick: good tackler and ball hawking safety

I don't see how Seattle will let him walk if hes that big of a player on their defense. Especially since they have so much cap space, also add in will he even sign with us being a rival.

I think Seattle re-signs most of their free agents. They have close to $70 million in cap space and they'll only get better this offseason.

They gave decent money to love and have Emmanwori, guess it boils down to how much they value a 3rd safety
