So we lost Tomlinson, DJ Jones, Gain nobody, and Still have Jimmy with no deal even close. What a disaster of a day.

John giving up a $15M TV deal to stay in a competitive environment and then doing nothing in the competitive environment. Has anyone checked him for signs of CTE.

Good to see our two guys get paid good and on AFC teams...I would liked him going to Jets or Miami tho
On Niners not doing anything on day one.....

Meh, not worried
I have a feeling that there are deals in place, just not announced because they are waiting for something to happen. Like trading Jimmy....

There isn't a benefit from keeping quite. if there was then we wouldn't know about all the agreements announced today

Eh, I think sometimes the fans put their emotional attachment for players over correct decisions. Did the FO want to bring these players back? Of course but at what cost. Every year it's the same thing, were not active and everyone gets mad. Paying that much for a guard and a 2 down NT we'll be back in cap hell before you know it. Remember when we were just trying to build a foundation and people got mad we signed Malcolm Smith and they acted like it was a record breaking contract? Fans are finally coming around to why we pay Juice so much.

I will say though, I do hope we put this money to the Deebo/Bosa extension (we will), as well as grab Gilmore and MVS/Grant. The Jimmy G stuff will work itself out, it always does.

I said before that I was ok with losing them if they use the money for other big names such as JC Jackson, Gilmore, or Chandler Jones for example. But just losing them and not improving the team elsewhere makes this team worse.

Someone needs to tell him we haven't won s**t, sometimes you need to take a hit on 15.

Me neither. We were never paying that for those two and when have we ever rushed out to overpay players on day one?

Far from panic time although I'm sure we'd all like the Jimmy G saga to end.

Can you be any more melodramatic?
