I kinda hope the Niners *don't* throw a ton of money at a corner. Such a high bust rate over the years for corners that sign big contracts in free agency.

The Richard Sherman signing by the Niners a few years ago was perfect. Reasonable contract for a really good player. That's very rare to get in free agency.

I tend to agree but a CB like JC Jackson rarely becomes a free agent. This isn't like when AJ Bouye or Byron Jones become free agents and people hype them up like they are top tier players. JC is one of the best in the league.

Fair point. Should be interesting to see how this plays out. I'd love to add another stud pass rusher opposite Bosa(which would make the Niners corners jobs way easier) but I know those are also expensive and hard to get.

Maybe they can get Stephon Gilmore on a reasonable 2 year deal? I dunno…just spitballing here.
I cant believe we havent even resigned anyone. I think our coaching staff isnt in love with any of our FAs. Rolling the dice on that their predetermined value on the FA is lower than they thought and have to come back to the 49ers on one year deals

Call up Sheldon Day, Ronald Blair and Kerry Hyder, get them back here for pennies on the dollar. Kocurek will turn them all pro

Well Lynch said they had offers ready to extend to Deebo and Nick that were being accounted for before free agency. Then Baalke went and f**ked all that up.

Naw it started last week with Mike Williams and the Chargers. If he's getting 20 million a year Deebo is gonna be looking for 25 plus easy.
Bridgewater to Miami

I'm gonna blame Baalke any chance I get
