ONE of the best shoot out I witness was that the NO MATCH Lions against the Saints that won the Super Bowl... Staff is as good as Dan Marino when it comes to throwing the ball !!

I assume you mean TY Hilton and he hasn't been their best WR. That's for sure. The colts have elite players at a lot of positions and have a TON of cap room. Plus Houston and Jacksonville suck so they get 4 easy games next season.

Who's their best WR then? He lead the team in yards again this yr. the have cap room BUT they also have massive contracts they have to pay for with Nelson/Smith/Leonard etc. they need a LT and have nothing at CB/EDGE right now.

AFC is stacked with top young QBs. He's gonna have to go through allen/jackson/Mahomes/herbert (possibly Watson) and teams like the Browns, Titans who both have good young QBs as well.

NFC is wide open.

Yeah I've looked over the stats and what not and you're right, I was wrong there for sure. I had TY in fantasy this year and he was a letdown. Definitely clouded my judgement.

I do think overall they have a great o-line (even if they can get a serviceable LT), some young up and coming weapons in Taylor and Pittman and their defense has some elite players in Buckner and Leonard. Along with cap space and me being a big fan of Ballard I think they are a great spot for Stafford to excel.

He's going to cost less resources than Watson or Zach Wilson lol

To all the people who think we can get a 2nd round pick by trading Garoppolo, please stop kidding yourselves. No one, and I mean no one, in their right mind would trade under any circumstance a 2nd rounder for Jimmy.

I was thinking the Patriots 4th

He's only 32, do it.

33, and he has 12 years of wear on the treads.

Only 49ers fans could demand we dump a proven winner for a proven loser over "talent".

"WE WANT CARR!! WE WANT CARR!! WE WANT CARR!!"
You cant honestly think Jimmy is better than Stafford.

Stafford is better in the sense that hes got 165 starts worth of reps in his career, and Jimmy only has 32. But im not paying Stafford's price tag. He's never been a winner, and hes 33. 2019 was a great season for Garoppolo, and it was his first full season coming off a major knee injury. If they can protect him next year theres no reason he can't build off of that and get us back to the SB.

Like I've said, Jimmy has won 75% of his starts, and the same team has looked like crap without him. They better be DAMN sure his replacement is going to win more than 75% of their games, or its a huge mistake. I dont trust Matthew Stafford to be that guy.
My concern is his health. Yes, that's a problem with Jimmy, which is why we probably should move on from him, but I'm wary of giving up the 12th pick for Stafford who is one Mcglinchey bed crapping away from having his career ended.
Not worth giving 12th overall pick.
If it's 2 1sts that they want for Stafford, I'd rather go all-in for Watson or make a play to trade up in the draft for a QB.

I'd do the #12 pick and maybe I'd even throw in a 3rd since we just got 3 compensatory 3rds....but I'm not giving up more than that.

Why not, it's the same as giving 3 1st round picks for Watson.

Right, overall the WR position is far from good. Like I said that cap space is gonna get chewed up pretty quick with those extensions I brought up. If I'm Leonard and Smith I'm not going back on the field without an extension (same with Warner here).

They don't have anything at CB and no edge rushers. I get the colts as spot, good possibility...they have work to do all the same.

You can say that for every single QB thrown back there...Stafford has proven his a tough f**ker. Dude is gonna play with a ankle sprain lol.
