This would be one of the main benefits of acquiring Sanders, Sanu, or Gabriel. Each would be up to speed in no time if we were to trade for any of the three. Building chemistry with Jimmy might take time though.

I don't see it happening.

Even if the Chargers are 2-6 at the trade deadline. He's too good/young to let go even with his contract expiring after 2020.

There is maybe, MAYBE an outside chance the Chargers decide to hit the reset button if they hear Rivers is retiring and they want to use the post-2020 tag on Joey Bosa. But that's all unlikely to lead up to it IMO.

With that said, there are few players I would give up our 1st for and Keenan Allen would be one of them.

Yeah I was thinking Bc Gordon is gone, Rivers retiring, Bosa most likely wanting out, Ingram getting old, not much is looking good for them if all this is true, and I agree I'm all in for him if he's available, lots of speculation on it and will only grow I think

I'll take Dee Ford for a 2nd compared to Sanu zero chance SF is moving for a WR if Sanu is gonna command that kind of capital.

Schefter speculating the Patriots drove up the price so another team has difficulty trading for a WR. Also said Brady and Belichick might be nearing retirement that's why they gave up such valuable draft capital for a veteran rental that normally is not in there nature. Makes sense

Second for Sanu? Damn. The 30 year old hasn't even broke 850 yards or over 5 tds in a season. I just don't see the value.

If we do go after a WR, Lynch might as well go for a big name if the price for guys like Sanu is going to be that high.

I'd much rather trade a first and change for a Allen/Beckham type, than give up high picks for the likes of Green, Sanders or Parker.

I think he means Keenan Allen. Although I wouldn't trade a 1st for KA either.
