Which WR would you want to see the 49ers pursue before trade deadline?

I hope it's aj green bc if we get him for a third plus whatever else I think we win the sb.....assuming we aren't injured up the ass

This poll should be asking: "before the trade deadline"

FA would have to be next March, by which time the need for a "#1 WR" to help in any SB run would be moot...

Also, belongs in FA/Trades forum
Sanders will be cheaper so him
Will they make Jimmy's arm stronger?
I'm not sure if I'm the only one, but I feel like the team should let the season play out with the receivers we got. We don't have a true #1 but I feel like our WRs needs experience and health and they'll be straight. Def not an aging injury prone Green that'll cost us.. we're not flooding with cap anymore and we got a DL playing on fire waiting to be paid

Who's gets more open and a better route runner?
All I know is if we got AJ Green he would probably command double coverage and then kittle as well as the rest of our wide receivers would probably be running wide-open. It would open up our whole offense and when we play a team with a great run defense and or secondary we could beat those teams instead of struggling to complete passes to our receivers that can't get open consistently or make Plays let alone catch the ball consistently.

Even if all of you value our draft picks since we will most likely be picking in the high 20s you can't tell me that's not worth close to the hundredth pick if we are giving up a third rounder. Good luck trying to find a wide receiver that good close to pick 100

Armstead might be gone next year and who knows if our defense will be playing this good in the years to come. Even if we mortgage the future a little bit or have to get rid of a good player or two to get this wide receiver I would rather have a Super Bowl then consistently be in the playoffs only to lose the teams that have a good run defenses and secondaries.

I'd go Sanders since he seems to be the most healthy. But if they don't trade for a receiver, wouldn't mind waiting and see what Dallas does with Amari Cooper. They may have a lot of cap space next season but they also have a lot of free agents to take care of including Dak Prescott. Who knows maybe hey let Amari Cooper test the market.
Can AJ Green even play and be a factor anymore? That's a more pressing question. If healthy then hell yes.

Sanders is a legit WR too. Very underrated, and in our system would be an instant weapon too.

I'd go Sanders. Cheaper, won't cost as much as it will for Green, and he can be just as productive or better than Green.

I like this!!

Cowboys have $91M in cap space in 2020.

They can fit both Prescott and Cooper in there.

It's just a matter of a) if they sign either one to an extension before free agency starts and b) if they don't sign either to an extension, who do they tag.

It's just not likely at all. There are several free agent options next offseason that are more likely than Cooper.
