Should probably take a flier on him... Could fill a position of need for us, he's young and he had more interceptions than our entire team last year...

Waste of a 6th rounder. Malcom smith or greenlaw can fill the Sam role.

He's a pretty damn good player. I would still rather trade for Chris Harris though.

i mean, i saw his stats, he definitely doesn't look bad.
But stats are only half of the battle.
i see he has missed some games each season he's in been in the league.
but overall i don't know his presence on the field. But he is still super young so i'd def take a chance on him.
i prefer Lee over Harris though.

Robert Saleh loves him some Malcolm Smith, I doubt they trade for Lee. Trust me I would love for them to trade for him. He's had his fair share of injuries but still healthier than Smith.

If we can get him for a late round pick i'd be happy with that. Can't have enough depth at a position. Especially with the injuries that the lb position has had.

Yeah, this was BEFORE we picked Greenlaw. But, still think Lee and Greenlaw would look better. Flush Smith and Nzeoza off the roster.

It's not really a position that needs a ton of investment. Greenlaw, Smith, or Nzeocha can set the edge or drop into the flat for the the 10-15 plays they are on the field.

true, altho Greenlaw is a rookie, I think he can play it. My affinity for Lee is to flush Smith and Nzeoza off the roster. When Seattle dominated the league, their defense was stacked with guys that cud start elsewhere, I just want that for us. But we're probably ok with or without him (Lee).

Looks like we got another guy from Eagles instead. Great ST player. Between this guy, our other FA's signed, and Greenlaw, I think we getting rid of the whole SAM LB'er crew (Smith and Nzeocha) from last year.
