John Ross up for trade

It was 7 TDs on 21 receptions.

TDs are flukey.

If you're catching TDs with Jeff Driskel throwing the football and have world class speed, you're worth a look.

Goodwin is too hit or miss to be counted on. Probably why ks is on record saying they will limit him next year. Tried counting on him in 2018 and he just didn't show up

For sure, but the look he's worth is averaging 10 catches a year for 10 yards per catch across two years, not that seven of the 20 ended up as touchdowns by way of a fluke.

I don't mind the team weighting in their draft profile for him when he came out (and trying to capture value by reclaiming the career of someone who so far has been as big of a Top 10 bust as anyone in recent memory), but the only thing we can absolutely take to the bank on Ross is that if ends up ever making more catches in the NFL his TD % will be going down.

If there is ANY chance we trade Solomon Thomas I believe this is the only trade target that makes sense. If Kyle has more confidence he can turn John Ross' career around than he is confident about Thomas then it makes sense as a swap of 2 extremely talented but underwhelming prospects. Picks just aren't "right" compensation since you won't get a player with top 5 caliber traits/upside in exchange.
John Ross for Soloman straight up would be amazing!

I'm surprised they openly admitted to that, but I do think if they had Goodwin in the number 3 spot, he (and the team) would be in a GREAT situation.

If more than that was happening, he probably wouldn't be available for trade. There's a reason he's rumored to be available so early into his career.

It makes sense in the sense that, you have two guys who are top-10 in terms of talent. In Thomas's case, I don't think he will get enough opportunities to truly show his value. And with Ross, it seems everything in Cincinnati has gone down in the last few years. At the end of the day, Kris Kocurek will be the one to determine what they can get from Thomas. We shall see what the make up of the team is in about a week.

I'd do that sh!t yesterday
He wants a trade. I don't think he'd cost very much at all. We could use a guy with speed to stretch the defense and keep safeties back. We lost Goodwin in offseason, Tavon Austin and JJ Nelson both went down. I think a burner would help this offense a good amount, just so they have to respect that speed a bit. And Shannahan makes almost any fast guy look better than they are.

I know he's another guy with injury history. He'll fit right in. I'd go after him for cheap.

Think they'd still take that?
Trade one Washington Huskie receiver bust for another Washington Huskie receiver bust.
