I asked a Cowboys front office source if a 1st & 3rd would be compensation they'd consider for Adams.
His response: "We wouldn't do that."
If this is what they want from Dallas, then it would take the 49ers 2020 1st and 2021 2nd. I don't think a SS is worth that type of draft compensation, especially when Tartt is only 27yo, is signed through 2020, and is a big part of our top 2 defense.
If Lynch could move Tartt for multiple 2020 picks and then use those picks to send to NYJ, then maybe I could see such a deal happening. Not likely though.
Totally worth it if we look at our past 2nd rd picks IMO.
Tarrt has one yr left on his deal, Ward is a FA, and I don't think Moore is the answer.
Adams can cover TE/RBs, he can rock out in dime, he can run defend like a SOB, and he's very good in coverage. IMO he's more than just a SS.
