I think AB mentioned cutting Jet now won't make any difference in our cap.

We don't need nor can we afford to make a trade for a big salaried player, after bonuses and potential incentives we only have $11.7M leftover.

High priced players like Chris Harris Jr. and Emmanuel Sanders aren't worth a short term rental and depleting our cap space.

I get what you're saying AB, but if there wasn't a way why would the 49ers contact Denver about Sanders?

You mean go for it and be all in to win Super Bowl this year, I kinda agree with this , we went to the Super Bowl and fell short recently and I rather that not happen again because it took us this many years to get back, we gonna need to add a wr I think and maybe a corner or safety to compete with New England

I still don't understand why people don't listen to you about trades for big names.

It's not going to happen. Get over it. Lynch isn't going to destroy what cap we have for a big name? Why is that so hard to understand?

Can the deadline get here so this can end?

It's not about getting a big name. It's about getting someone who can catch footballs and stay healthy, unlike Deebo, Goodwin, and Bourne.

This team doesn't have too many needs right now, but a capable receiver who can be relied on to get chunks of yardage and be a red zone threat is definitely one of them.

I swear I'm going to come bump this thread when some scrub like Goodwin or Deebo drops a crucial pass in the most critical point of a playoff elimination game.

IDK why they'd contact Denver, makes no sense to me.

Vic Beasley on the trading block. Wouldn't mind the Niners go for him.

He had one good season where he racked up a bunch of Cassius Marsh level sacks. His pash rush productivity ratings have never been high. In this defense he'd be a super overpaid SAM.

Atlanta has been playing him the same way the 49ers have utilized Ford and Beasley stil isn't getting home.

You'd be paying over $6 million for the rest of the season to a rotational player with zero guarantee that some dumb GM wouldn't overpay for him next year.

Overall recent Clemson DLs outside of Grady Jarrett tend to suck something fierce in the NFL.

According to Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer, the Patriots inquired about O.J. Howard but were told he's not available.

Howard would make an incredible amount of sense for the Patriots, who have yet to find an adequate replacement for retired tight end Rob Gronkowski. The 2017 first-rounder has yet to click in Bruce Arians' offense, but was excellent a year ago, leading the position in yards per reception (16.6) while also showing promise as a blocker. Joining forces with Tom Brady in New England would no doubt come as a major boost to Howard's stagnant fantasy stock, though unfortunately for all of us, it doesn't appear the Bucs will entertain that possibility.

I take this as Howard is available now.

All of this. Beasley maybe would make sense if we played 4-3 under but we don't really anymore.
