lol right?For Hurd, he's making nothing in $ and hasn't taken up a roster spot for two seasons...there's no point in "moving on" let him get healthy and get what you can out of him.

Dee Ford bothers me the most. His contract demands a huge salary and he continues to do nothing. There's no real backup plan other than rotational guys. Hopefully Ebukam is the answer but that is a bit of an unknown in this defense. With Jimmy at least there's a backup plan/ upgrade plan already in place.

But we know what Jimmy G/Ford are capable of
they have actually taken snaps in an NFL game. To me that's what makes it frustrating about those two.

We can still win games without Ford though....you lose your starting QB that you're paying top cash for, more than likely the season is done.
Now we have a plan and don't have to depend on him at all...at least we have that.
Ford is a sunk cost at this point...maybe he can stay healthy enough to get you 40% of the teams edge snaps for a year, but I wouldn't hold my breath on that. Sucks because he's such a twitchy explosive edge rusher

This is the year 2021. Guys have had ACL injuries and come back whole the next year. This is not the 20th century anymore. Let's hope this kid makes it back. His debut was so promising two years ago. We could really use him going forward. If he can't, next man up. His former teammate Jauan Jennings may work as our BIG slot receiver or Richie James could be the guy. Crossing my fingers.
