Disregarding Pettis, who doesn't see the field to get injured, you have to wonder about what's going on.

Jennings and Aiyuk are the only one's who haven't missed a game yet. That's because they haven't played a game yet.

Everyone else has been extensively injured or is currently dealing with a significant injury.

That's a lot of smoke for one position group.

Sorry to be an ass about it. But I think you have to be asking some questions here.

If all those guys stay healthy it may do...but you can't count on that unfortunately. Losing talented players(even if we haven't seen Hurd play in the regular season always sucks)

Only plus side to this is you'd rather deal with injuries like this now vs once the season starts so you can have these guys rehab sooner and get them ready for next season and also not use a roster spot on them and they don't play. Last year really hurt with us keeping Taylor and Hurd on the 53 then realizing late in the year they won't be playing.

I think its going to be fine, I'm looking forward to seeing more of Jennings and it looks like Pettis makes the team, and El Gato looks serious about playing this year. Hurd's injury gives these two an opportunity.

This does open the door for Jauan and Poindexter. I look at Poindexter in the same light as Bourne. Improving each year. Although he has more tools than Bourne has, taller and way faster than him.

Bourne is our only Redzone threat! Poindexter doesn't see the field, idk how those tools are there if he can't get up on the depth chart over Bourne. I like poindexter though, these injuries will let these guys step up and take advantage
