Okay, okay. Hear me out. Bortles is obviously not the future in Jacksonville, but he just signed a 3 year extension this offseason. Jacksonville would have to eat about 6.5 million to cut him. That may be more than they are willing (or able) to spend. That is were we come in. Similar to the Brock Os deal, except we send a bit more, say a 3rd or 4th and Nick Mullens to Jacksonville for Bortles and Ramsey. We cut Bortles and take the one year cap hit and sign Ramsey to an extension. Jacksonville gets some cap savings and at least a competent back up QB.

So let me get this straight. They signed him to an extension then pay us to take him away. Ok.

They are getting rid of him this offseason that is for sure. We saw this happen before with the Browns with Brock so it could happen.

Jaguars are gonna be an interesting team to watch in the offseason.. I'm pretty certain they're gonna fire their coach and they already are gonna get rid of Bortles.

I wonder if Tom Coughlin believes in the HC and could have anything to do with him being fired or staying...remains to be seen. Why the hell they paid Bortles all that money was really laughable.

They're in need of QB, oline help and RB...I hope they seek a deal with us for Ramsey or another one of their star players on D.

Just a thought, considering now the niners are basically out of the running for Bosa, if they really had a chance to trade their 3rd overall pick, their 2nd round pick this year and say a 3rd next year for the Jags say 7-10 pick and Ramsey would you do it ?? Ramsey is basically fed up and angry as of now with the jags organization..

safety is an area of need, take Ramsey. hope sherm can teach him and you pick up their first and maybe a 4th
