WR Devante Parker

WR Devante Parker

Another big-body bust.
The guy hasn't posted awful stats but not 14th overall stats.

Take a run at him for a year. Nothing to lose.

I didn't know small receivers have a 100% hit ratio. AJ Jenkins that dude was a baller. Nobody has ever said big guys can't bust.

I never read anyone say AJ Jenkins' hallmark attribute was a small body. That, however, was stated plenty of times by webzoners for Devante Parker(also DGB, who's thread is coincidentally under this one.
Seems like he gets dinged up often but for some reason I feel like he would excel with Kyle....

Parker came out at 75.2 inches and 209 pounds. You're exaggerating he's a size freak to begin with. That's big bodied but no one would be confusing him with a bust like Calico, DGB where yeah they fell for the dream prototype stuff.

I still think this kid is talented, injury issues but Miami has done him dirty imo.

Give him a one yr deal and see what he's got. I feel like any offensive player who wants to making some cash would want to play in Kyle's scheme.

Living in south Florida I see this guy play weekly when he's on the field. You're right he's injury prone but he sure makes plays when he's on his game. This should be a lynch signing; young, cheap, position of need and high reward low risk and the risk is he misses multiple games due to injury. It's not like he's a foster or Gordon, I think if healthy he can break out in Kyle's system. This really screams Lynch signing honestly and gives the ability to stack up on d and since right now we have 5 picks we can take a wr with our final or so pick if they really like one

Parker is talented. He's got two red flags. He's a bit of diva reportedly and very, very injury prone.

Talent is not a question. If he comes cheap it would be a good option. He brings something we don't have.

Goodwin, Pettis, Parker, Taylor, James and Bourne would be a pretty good core heading into next season.
I DO like the idea of having him here. Change of scenery and a trade may "wake " him up. Remember how VANCE MC.DONALD was for us ?? Now he starts for Pittsburgh, never hurt, and catches everything!!
But I'd get Parker and a draft pick, add to what we have, and our WR situation would be fixed!!

I liked Parker during the draft process, but he has not panned out in the league. I don't see any reason to sign him and try to fix him. Just draft our own young WR and develop him. Why waste the roster spot?

incentive/non-guaranteed contract. We need a good amount of WR's to get through camp. If he pans out, great... if he doesn't, so be it

agreed

Yeah I think Miami tries to trade him (no one is gonna take the 5th yr option imo) I think a change would be good for him.

Yeah but if we kept Vance then most likely no Kittle. Kittle>>>>>>>>>>>Vance.
I think he is better than Bourne, and Garcon is injury busted too !! I say get him and draft a guy (Metcalf, Henry, et al), and RESOLVE the fricken issue! We need some big and fast WR's to bring the offense to better heights, and fill the missing link.
