I keep hearing on NFLN that nobody knows the details of the cut that the Cowboys asked Dez to take, only that they wanted him to take less money than what his current contract called for. If they said $3 Mil/year (or something silly), take it or leave it, then I understand some of the comments here. If they said, "Look, your production has dropped off and your attitude isn't great, how about $8-10 Mil/year (performance incentives" and he said nope, then it's different. To my knowledge, nobody knows the specifics outside of the Cowboys & Dez.
As far as I am concerned, I DO NOT WANT him on the 49ers. Poor attitude on & off the field. Bad example for a Veteran on this Team.
Hope he lands somewhere where he can create as much drama as possible on a contending team which disrupts them, and that benefits teams that I prefer as a result.

He's either going to be a Raider opposite Cooper, or a Texan opposite Hopkins..

I would be down for that. And Sherman can slap him around...
We could be the 2014 all stars with those 2 lol. Sounds like he wants to stay in the NFC east and that's fine with me.

Not old enough for Gruden to sign. He wants to play in the division. Giants pass game would be crazy with Dez lining up (covered by a CB2) across from OBJ and Engram over the middle.

Sounds like he wants to stay inside the NFC East. We'll see what happens.

That statement smack of "sour grapes" …

Moss was 34 years old when he came to SF. You guys trippin if you think Dez is too old. He's 29 which is still prime part of career.

I was aways of the mindset, that this would be their course of action regarding DB.
IMO, stringing him out was always the plan … and he was not enlightened enough,
to see through their charade.
The writing was definitely on the wall for him to see … unfortunately -- I feel -- he was
to self absorbed in his own self worth, versus the reality of the NFL, to realise his situation.
