Thoughts about this guy as a stop gap for Leo? I think he is much better than anything we will find in the draft with our second pick or later. He has an extensive injury history but I think he has many of the traits we are looking for.

Galette has a boulder sized chip on his shoulder and will keep grinding until he gets another opportunity.

I've spoke with Galette at length about his journey back and how his love for football drives him every day to keep working.

He wants to come to the 49ers and do whatever is asked of him.

With Dee Ford likely being out the next few weeks, the 49ers may have to look outside the roster to replace his speed off the edge.

I'm going to look at a player that could potentially fill that need.

IF Ford is out for a couple weeks we should bring him in. Like right now so he can get some snaps in the Packers game.

nah he took over for Blair....Cut Toilolo if Celek is gonna play this yr, if not put Celek on IR. We don't need 4 active TEs.

Also we don't need 3 QBs. SF needs to be thinking about winning and someone like Galette helps much more than someone like CJ.

I mean I guess it depends on Ford's injury. IF he's gonna be out a game then don't do anything if it's like month long thing then we should make a move.

That would require common logic from our FO, which they haven't really used much in the last few years.
