I read something recently that suggested this as a scenario. I think the 9ers should definitely go after him. Wouldn't need to draft a RB, who knows the offense and he's damn god.
Atlanta just made Freeman the highest paid RB in the league so i don't see them keeping Coleman and I'm sure Coleman wants to be the top dog somewhere.
Only time will tell but seems like it could work for both teams.

Nice thread ! lol trading for Coleman would be a great move for now and the future assuming he's signed long term..

Don't mean to s**t on your thread. At least your thread isn't about guys like Clowney or AJ green. But there's so many of these day dream threads. Acting like teams will just give up their beast players that are key pieces.
Maybe we should have a "trades you wish could happen thread"

Yeah I understand what you're saying but the fact I don't see him resigning they might want to get what they could for him and draft a RB to back up Freeman, it's just a hope and thought..but makes sense in my eyes..

It's probably just talk but sounds like they intend on keeping him. Unless they can replace him in this draft. He's a really important part of their offense , and won't be too expensive since he's a RB
On keeping him. Their gm said
"I believe you could realistically do it," Dimitroff said, via the team's website. "I think, again, it comes back to an earlier question when you're talking about looking at all the different spots on the roster and what you can do to create the space."

Interesting, I have to go look at what their cap situation is..all that money they are giving Freeman might prevent them from offering what Coleman can get from the niners..

On the topic though. I like Coleman but rather draft a guy more reliable. To get Coleman we'd have to give up picks and pay good money to have him. And dude gets hurt a lot plus has sickle cell. So many RBs out there , no need to just target him.

Had no clue he has sickle cell, but yeah I agree about drafting a RB if Hyde is not resigned..I just kno how much Shanahan loves players who are familiar with his scheme so it makes sense..

Yea that's true. He got guys he worked with that he can trust
John brown has sickle cell too. That's partly why he missed a lot of time
