This happens every year. Young unproven guys with promise sign for ridiculous contracts while proven vets around 30 wait till Day 2-3. One good argument for sitting out Day 1 when you want to fill multiple holes. Kwon was the perfect day 1 target bc no 24 year old former pro bowlers makes it to day 2.

It'd be a huge waste of resources considering all the other needs on the roster. Houston will easily cost another $12 to $15 million a year. You're not paying that for him to take part-time snaps.

Yea, especially with Buckner's extension coming soon. We'd have like 40% of the cap invested in the d-line.
