Fool me once with the mack situation shame on you. If they try to feed that bs again I have 0 faith they can evaluate and acquire fa talent.
Houston is the exact thing we need. Him and bosa will transform the defense.
This times a million. We don't need to hear about this garbage narrative of the front office. You can still build a great team or a dynasty with free agents even if you are starting the rebuild which we certainly are not. We are more like the colts or gb (I believe better than both with jimmy g and company)

So you think the world revolves around you, and refuse to entertain the reality of a situation?

I expect to get in a bidding war with him and then pull out at the last second. Lots of teams are going to be interested in his services

If we got into a bidding war for juice and McKinnon but wouldn't get into one for Houston, I'll be livid!

I mean there's a little bit of a difference there in cash...Houston is gonna get like $15 million per.

Get it done Lynch! He should be sitting in front of the agent's or the player's door right about now. I want to see the combo of Houston, Buckner, and Bosa!

Yeah houston is worth 12 or 13 to a team that doesnt suck but I would be fine paying him 15. Its not like the FO didnt obviously waste money on mckinnon and day. He fills a hole. Put him bosa, buck, and thomas and we will have a top 5 pass rush. I would have been fine with them even giving a low round pick to the chiefs and just paying him, now hes even a discount.

He's probably a declining player, I'd be nervous about giving him what he was scheduled to make this year. But he'll get it from someone.

I think with edge in FA given the sheer number of available options both FA and draft it's prudent to be engaged with all top guys available and find where the value falls. While Flowers/Fowler are off the market with the first wave, they are also likely to be the most overpaid of the bunch when they're not markedly better than guys like Ansah, Houston, Preston Smith, and even some solid tier 2 guys like Barret/Ray/etc.
IMO there were 3 high end ILB available and we slightly overpaid for the one that best fit our system and got a very cap friendly structure. Pass rush while a big need has way more options so important to not grossly overpay when we don't need to.
