Allen Robinson best FA WR

you've posted about Ridley's age in like three other threads we get it, he's not some 21 yr old kid....he's 23 and IMO I don't think that's a problem. He also doesn't have a torn ACL and won't command a $10+ million contract for 5 yrs

Not slow but he won't play the speedster Desean role in the o. Goodwin has that on lockdown here with his play.

I think we can all safely say our offense does not need more quick or fast receivers. That box is checked.

Agreed and that's why I walked back on A Rob. We need everything he brings to the table. I'm sure Shanny could production out of all 3.

Ya, he showed up well above his playing weight at the combine and lacked his regular explosion and speed. But agreed, we don't need another 4.3 guy. We need a big target, but one who can create more separation than just jumping higher than the defender. A Rob can outrun biger corners, and box out smaller corners.

You seem to be very sensitive on the subject of Ridley. Take your emotions out of it for a bit.

ARob's ACL doesn't concern me, it's not a death knell. And without that injury a WR like that never hits the open market until he's close to retirement. I get it, you want Ridley bc he's a shiny new toy, but it's very unlikely to happen.

LOL nah not at all man....you're the one that's throwing his age out as this huge issue on numerous threads, not me

Ridley isn't close to my favorite prospect in this draft, I think he's the best WR but I doubt we go WR early in the draft or in FA. Kyle has spoke about being able to scheme players on offense to be productive (which has happened this yr) BUT he's said you need real talent on defense.

I get it you want Arob ( who doesn't he's a good football player) BUT we've already paid garcon a very large contract and I wouldn't be surprised if we extend Goodwin as well. IMO money will be spent elsewhere.

I agree with all the above. I wouldn't be surprised if they stand pat and draft a guy later in the draft. There's about a lot of depth at WR in this draft, just not great at the top.

Lots of quality WRs coming to the NFL. Christian Kirk, James Washington, Ridley, Ateman, Sutton, Miller, st. Brown, Auden Tate, Cobbs, Pettis, Gallup.

To name a few.

I like Ateman if we want a big-bodied red-zone threat (question the inflated stats being he's at OSU and his route-running). I think Gallup is a well-rounded WR.

We will see I think they hit up the draft for a WR at some point, like you said there's depth there.

Agree with you.

Not sure what being WR1 in this draft even means... it's not like there is significant separation between WR1 and WR2. Each WR available this year is available every year. Nobody special in the mix.
WR1 is easily Antonio Callaway. Too bad he's a head case. Oh, and James Washington sucks. That is all.
We don't need Allen Robinson. We need to put that money towards a CB and o line. Don't forget we still have Garçon . Plus a 2nd and two 3rds

You're out of your mind. James Washington is built like a running back and can fly. Please put down the drugs.

K. So you like him as a WR because he's built like a different position and is fast. Any more insight?

Well i was so thrown by your in-depth and sharp analysis that "he sucks" that i forgot to refute all of the legitimate points you made as to why "he sucks."
