I think these guys had Robinson once on their 2015 fantasy football team.

Good thing the term slot is just used as a description of where they line up on the field, and not some crazy pair of handcuffs around their ankles as a limitation device.
actually that's kinda important man...that's like saying let's sign a guard to play left tackle lol.

Landry is the only WR to catch 100 passes and not reach 1,000 yards. He make no sense for this offense, though i do like him as a player.

Landry can play both slot and outside...considering how injuries play a role especially on this team his ability to move inside and out could be valuable.

I said he can play both and you confirmed it for me thanks. TT is a 100% slot guy that doesn't help if Garcon or Goodwin go down.
LOL confirmed what he spent 73% of the time in the slot where he's been MOST successful? please go find how amazing he's been playing on the outside on a regular basis.

Slot is used to describe alignment on the field.
Guard and tackle are positions being played, their position titles.
Wrs aren't listed as slot or outside, they're listed as wrs, his position title.

Per @PFF_Jeff, 63% of Trent Taylor's receptions this season came on third down. The league average for receivers is less than half that, at 30.5%. #49ers

You ever seen a bunch formation before? Do you understand the complexity of that formation and how defenses have to react to that?

Sit Taylor? Why? Or play both is an option too no?

You providing Taylor stats only is validation for someone running from space in the slot, it's unguarded. Thus you can bunch two there or.... wait for it.......
Wait for it.....
.... you can slot one on each side!

And that's what Landry lined up in the slot 73% of the time....because that's where his skill set translates best. It's not rocket science man.
There's a reason certain players play well there and not out the outside different skills sets. Guys like Nelson Agholor Jordan Matthews lined up on the outside and were awful because there's best served in the slot.

Ofcourse, watch a bill bellichek conference on Landry, one wr that kept that best coach in the game up overnight for game planning.
