Currently Goodwin is a FA end of 2018 (only got s 2 yr deal). Garcon is gonna be 32 when the season starts and we can cut him after the 2018 easy based on that contract.
We do have a young slot wr that kyle hand picked and played well this yr. Taylor's play this yr hasn't earned him a spot on the bench imo.
Personally I'd rather draft a WR then spend money on Landry if we're not gonna go after Allen.

Imo Larry will retire a cardinal before going to SF for a yr on a rebuilding team

Goodwin needs to be extended or replaced with a Gabriel, Ridley either way. Neither A Rob, Landry or Garcon fills his role in the offense. He's our Desean deep threat.
As for Trent he'd be like Amendola here should we sign Landry. 2nd slot guy.
I'd prefer Allen and I'm not the biggest fan of bringing Landry but he could work here.

OR we let go of old man garcon and keep a young Goodwin and and another young WR in Arob, plus keep developing Taylor....taylor doesn't have to be pushed to the bench.
Landry is gonna command a big pay day and I'd rather not pay a slot WR that. Hopefully someone else over pays for him.

Landry is not my 1st choice but he's a great receiver and would still work here.

Landry is a semi less physical version of boldin = winner
Robinson is a mirror image of ed mccaffrey = weiner

1. Coaches wouldn't have to gameplan as much to stop Robinson as they would have to try and stop Landry.
2. Again, this slot term being used to describe only one person as in Taylor. It's just a description of where he is on the field, meaning you can have all or MORE players running out of the slot on the SAME play. I'm taking Taylor and Landry both running from the slot area on the same play = unguardeable

The jalen Ramsey's, Peterson's, Sherman's and Johnson's of the league can lock up an Allen Robinson on the outside. The wrs they struggle with are the shifty, change of direction- quick ones in Taylor and Landry.

He's not an outside WR dude (73% of his snaps was in slot). That's like saying Jordan Matthews can play outside lol

Good thing the term slot is just used as a description of where they line up on the field, and not some crazy pair of handcuffs around their ankles as a limitation device.

I said he can play both and you confirmed it for me thanks. TT is a 100% slot guy that doesn't help if Garcon or Goodwin go down.
