Dez Bryant

Hope he gets released just for fun lol. See if we kick the tires then. A 6th could possibly do it but probably not at that salary.
I should have put this here

if the price is right like a 5th or something involving a pick next year or if they cut him.. i sure would look at dez. to many people set here and say.. well we do not need this person or that.. in my opinion. we sure as hell need someone to upgrade things in the wide out thing. i think getting dez would not stop us from drafting a kid on day three

My hope is they cut him so the Niners can sign him at a lower rate....but I wouldn't be opposed to a late round pick trade. I think he still has a ton left in the tank, is still a viable RZ threat and would flourish again with JG.

Absolutely no. On the decline and a known toddler on the sidelines and in the locker room. Last thing we want.

He is also on the decline, can't get separation anymore, missed 10 of last 33 games, drop rate of 12.5% of catchable balls last season. Pass.

I'd take Dez. He was never a speed guy IMO. He was more run after the catch and jump ball/ fade route type WR. I'm sure Coach could get him going in this offense.

we have been told everyone wants to play for kyle and with jimmy so this should not be an issue

...I'm sorry what does that have to do with Dez being on the decline?

for those who say he is a toddler and distraction in the locker room. and maybe a change of pace will help him here. lord knows we need a boost in our wide outs. no offense to those who have some sort of "feeling " about bourne.. right now. we have no wide out who scares anyone in my opinion. again if the price is right i would do it. i would have done the same for gronk. oh i forgot. we do not need anyone. we are fine

It's not a matter of need. Same idea if we for OBJ. Do you want a head case who has a real chance of tearing a young growing locker room apart? Kyle is young as well and only second year head coach.

Do we want to give him a guy who may be great on the field, but requires massive hand holding and ego massaging off of it? Kyle doesn't seem the type to deal with that level of immaturity tbh.

So while I understand your wanting to upgrade the offense, my fear is it would be at the expense of the rest of the team.
In Dez's case Jones has literally had to hire PI's to follow him everywhere! And I believe the police have still been called to his residence dozens of times! Now that Dez is in the decline he doesn't think it is worth it anymore and wants to shop him or drop him.

Would JG revitalize him? Maybe/probably, but honestly he is not worth it for the lack of a brain he has and we have seen nothing to indicate his body is going to improve. There was an article late last year talking about how he cannot get separation on routes like he used to 2-3 years prior. That's a super red flag imo.

red flags never bother kyle and lynch. they got joe williams and foster. and of course some are wringing their hands that sherman will be some sort of a distraction or bad locker room person

That's different. Red flags in college vs red flags from years in the pros. Like we KNOW Dez will be somewhat of a headache at some point. Guaranteed lol. He will have a big year then hold out for 25 mill a year lol

Sherman comes across as a dick at times, but when we signed him everything I've read from hawks fans/media etc is that he's a fantastic teammate and you hear nothing about him in the offseason. Works for me!
