I like moore, but I'll bet money they're not "upgrading" from Kyle's boy in the slot, and they shouldn't be.
Eh maybe. I'd like to think Kyle isn't the type of coach that is so set in his ways that he wouldn't do something like that.

24 years young with a ton of talent and some bad luck.
He is honestly the best WR we could pick up this off season, without having to sell the house.

People on this board don't think he's good because the rams are going to tag Joyner instead. They think it means he's not a good player. He's obviously past his prime at 24.

Me, too - he could be the WR1 in our offense, without breaking the bank.

LOL if you think Sammy Watkins will be affordable.
Maybe if he takes a 1 yr deal.

Good player? Sure. Great player and a #1 wr... no. If he was that kind of player Buffalo wouldnt have moved him for just a 2nd, LA wouldnt let him walk, and he wouldnt have just been a decoy with only 39 catches in 15 games.

That would be the only way. A 1yr $10mill deal ala Jeffery with Philly last year. If that's the case, I'm all in. But not at 5yrs $50mill. I would rather get Moncrief for half that.

Garoppolo and Shanahan would make Watkins look like a top level WR easily. Sign him to a multiple year deal with incentives and you won't have regrets.

"A lot of teams need wide receivers," Rapoport noted. "Not a lot of actual receivers out there. The 49ers, the Bears, the Browns—would all be teams potentially interested in Watkins."

Set in his ways? Taylor was a rookie who had a very very good yr. He was 3rd in rec among all rookie WRs and 5th in yards (and that's with Hoyer/CJ over half of the yr).
upgrading from him shouldn't be a thought at this point.
