We could have swung the same trade for Cooks - our 2nd and our 4th (for the Saints' 5th). Would you make that deal? Not sure if I would. Patriots are going all out to win in the next 2-3 years. Once Brady retires or declines, they start over.

Last night I was thinking of if the Patriots traded jimmy g and somehow got the #1 pick for him. And they then traded the #1 pick for a boat load from someone else. I put nothing past them when it comes to magic lol

I honestly think not being able to retain Blount will have a bigger impact than anything. He was a key reason why defenses had to keep certain personnel that created a mismatch for the jitterbug WR's and the passing game. Unless they get a legit Rb in the draft, the Pats won't make it to the AFCC.
