Honestly this is the 1st time ive heard of this guy, so i have no clue if he's good or an upgrade

meh...look at his career starts. Dorsey would be a better resign unless this guy is just camp fodder.

The important thing here is that our FO is reaching out to him. The work has begun.

I'd be cool with it if he signed with us. wouldn't want to break the bank for him though.

Do we still have that guy from the pats swuad on our team. Took over for. Double A at defense end.

How does he rate. For the defense switch up. Would this guy maybe be taking his spot

I think Jones is gone if we're gonna go after Poe/Williams/Haskins. Cause then we'd have Dial,Blair and possibly Mitchell as backup DT. Or maybe they still re-sign Jones if they wanna move Blair to SAM or DE full time.

Too much talk about Dorsey...he'll be 32 this summer, has been injured a lot the last couple of seasons. Mitchell's 29...he's been a rotational player in Miami, due in large part to them spending huge money on Suh, Lake, etc. He's definitely worth a look, if for no other reason than Seattle, Denver and Atlanta all want to talk to him. In Saleh's defense, he'll need at least 6 DL to support his front line. I think there's more than a good chance Dorsey, Dial and Jerrod-Edie don't make the team/aren't re-signed. Chris Jones is definitely worth re-signing, and they also have Blair to go along with Armstead & Buckner. Saleh needs a real stud to line up next to Chris Jones...so, I'm hoping they can sign Kawann Short, Brandon Williams or Bennie Logan. Shanahan/Lynch should also draft a top DL. Mitchell might be a guy who could be part of the DL rotation...he's 6-3, 310, so has the size and experience. I surely wouldn't discount him as a candidate to beef up our DL.
