eh, floyd has kind of sizzled lately and i bet some team is going to throw way more money than he deserves at him

Id be down for Jones but i doubt he hits the market because cardinals traded for him this season for a 2nd round pick so id expect that they are going to have an extension in place

No way jones gets to FA...like you said Floyd has flamed out so I doubt a team is gonna shell out top end money. I'd like to steal minter

Ehhh that's John brown...Floyd is a red zone threat he just has a case of drops this yr. I think he'd be a big upgrade here and it would be at a value for how's he playing.

This upcoming free agency class looks a LOT better than this past year even if some of them get franchise tagged. Good year to be more than $100 million under.

Is Josh McCown a UFA and would he be a good fit in Chip's system as a bridge to our rookie? He hasn't won many games but has had some pretty solid games and overall stats for CLE in this last year and a half. A better version of Gabbert

Floyd isnt a very smart player and he's prone to drops.

Reports are that he expects to be paid like a #1 WR despite him not actially being one.

no, i think he is under contract one more season after this one.

You're right. I just checked Spotrac and the UFA list isn't very impressive for QBs (go figure, right?). I doubt Cousins hits the market but aside from him, I don't really see a viable bridge QB. Perhaps a Landry Jones if Pittsburgh decides not to bring him back but other than that, I think we will bring back either Gabbert or Lewis and draft two QBs; one very early (in the top 35 picks) and one in the mid to late rounds. Maybe inquire into a trade of a late round pick for McCown instead

while PFF is just a stat they have him currently as the 28th overall lb (Bucannon is 25th). Seems to be avg in both the run and coverage. I'll take avg over what we currently have

. Maybe he get's overpaid somewhere else but we have to remake that ILB position and depth is good.

theres always a couple of teams who are willing to shell out that money based on his past production and physical attributes. Im down for inquiring about him but not down to pay too much.
