Why would he not want to raise his value?? Higher value means a better contract and more money.

Cooling off really fast. Elway did good work setting the bar at the 4th round and making the Browns feel like they were over bidding. Nothing will happen until after 4/1 IMO, if ever.

he could have success in the system and then when a team's starting QB gets hurt, Kap becomes an expensive player to acquire. But then again if he is having success in the system, i dont see why we would trade him unless the rook is looking very promising

I agree with kap as the reason for the stall. Is anybody else reminded of a 18 year old kid throwing attitude, threatening to leave but when you sincerely show them the door, they shut their mouth? Just like 80% of kids with attitudes, kap will realize he really wants to leave and will take the pay cut. It's up to him to take the pay cut and leave. The 49ers owe him nothing, it would be absurd to ask them to take less compensation for him via the broncos.

Is there any chance kap was pulling this in order to renegotiate a deal with the 49ers? Kind of a this is what the rest of the league values me as so I want a better contract sort of thing? Would anybody be surprised if kap was signed to a long term deal? If he wasn't hurt last year, there would be a chance kap would be signing a new contract this offseason.
