Well if there are more than two teams maybe we can get a low first? And then we can complete part of my elaborate dream to acquire one of these two dudes:

Ian Rapoport on NFLN: At least three teams negotiating for Colin Kaepernick. This could go down in the next couple hours. Thinks it will take a 2nd rounder, but Broncos will need to do more than that given their last pick in the round status.

The Raiders is now the definitive No.1 team in the Bay Area. Good job, Baalke!! You are the best!! Always!!

We will see...clearly we are building though the draft no FA. The only deal I liked the Raiders making with the Irvin deal to be honest. Big FA buys don't always make for great teams (Philly's "dream team" comes to mind) a lot of those dudes don't play like they did when they were hungry for a contract.

Pick up Schwartz, Hayward, Freeman, trade Kap for at least a 2nd and let's go up and get your boy Goff

Dude, I don't know which Raiders deal you like or don't like, but what I do know is they made their team a tonne better after those moves. They now have a legit pass rush with the Mack/Irvin tandem and a fortified O-line to protect the QB and of course led by the up and coming Derek Carr. I don't know about you bro, it looks like a team on the rise to me.

Listen we couldn't even beat them in 2014, no way in hell we can beat them now. Our roster now is weak as sh*t. Even if we draft Goff, he alone can't turn around such a train wreck by himself.

They over spent for Osmele IMO he has back and knee issues and they are gonna pay him $12+ million a year! I like the Irvin deal seemed like a good price for both sides no issue there. Sean Smith I wanted but not for 4 years $40 million (gonna be 29 before the season starts). Pretty sure Oakland had a ton of cash last year and didn't do much either, they got their players thru the draft then went out and got some impact players. Baalke needs to build through the draft THEN get those impact players.

Another example is NY they just spent something like $250 million LOL. That can take you to the top or set you team back years with bloated contracts.

Look at the Broncos they got their SB then lost half of there young talent which is HUGE.

I wish SF would have gone for a young OL like Brooks or Allen because we need help there(and I'm in no way sticking up for Baalke because we should have made some kind of move), I'm fine with not giving Vernon more guaranteed cash then JJ watt lol...we will have to wait and see if this names on Oakland/NY actually equal wins before saying they are on the rise.

Build through the draft supplement in FA.

2) The 49ers likely want a second-round pick; Broncos may be willing to part with a third. The dance continues.

Their 3rd is essentially a 4th no thanks

IMO the Broncos end-of-round 2nd or 3rd picks are not very attractive. The Niners hold all the cards here.

100% This
in my opinion,,. they will never get a first round pick. now if they do, the other team is dumb but I will not throw it back

Make it happen Baalke. Get a Lamichael James for him. Oh, I mean, a Vance McDonald. Wait. I think I mean a Tank Carradine. Screw it. Give me a Bruce Ellington and we'll call it even....DERP

I would love someone to explain to my why we should be happy with a second rounder based on Kap, his potential and Baalk's draft history in that round? I suppose its ok if you think Kap is hopeless and total trash, but if not, a 2nd is hardly worth it.

The Broncos will pay up, they are desperate as fxxk now.

I agree, if we press them hard enough they will part with a 2nd rd pick. It's at the bottom of the 2nd rd too, so still basically a 3rd. But I don't see us getting anything higher than a 2nd for Kap. Denver is the perfect option, they desperately need a veteran starter.

I want their 31st pick OR a 2nd this year and next (depending on playing time)....Broncos have zero leverage in this. We don't have to get rid of Kap and have a butt load of cash with him still on the team.

lol they would never do that. Just sign RGIII and draft a QB

Right. Great plan. Except for the whole thing about drafting #31 for their first pick, lol. Lots of absolute stud, first round, blue chip, franchise QB's just standing in line at that point aren't there? RG3 is, at best, going to get a shot at a training camp competition, most likely going to be a back up this year, if he gets signed. As much as many hate Kaep, he has been a starter, and has successful play off experience. Yes he has questions around him, but far less than RG3. So you really think Elway wants to start camp with RG3, and no clear succession plan?
