Here a simple solution. Make the trade! Get whatever you can for Kaep and add to the already impressive draft capital the Niners have. It solves a problem by getting rid of someone who doesn't want to be here anymore, and sends that player to the other conference where you won't have to face him twice a year. Just do it!

the niners are never active on day one. never have been. what is so shocking about it? whether it is right or wrong is a matter of everyones opinion. but the fact is that the niners are never very active on day one of free agency and people who are raging angry about it only have themselves to blame in my opinion. for a while i thought maybe they would change things up a bit but that is not the way it is done so you can either kick the cat or just deal with it

I thought they signed Torrey Smith Day one last year. (That's off the top of my head. I believe there have been several others.)

yes.. that was one exception.. it was for that reason I thought they may change the way they do things but that was a rare exception. alot of teams wait day one out when the crazy money is thrown out to players who probably are not worth it.

yes, we always need to be worried about what the raiders are doing as we are running our team. that is just illogical running our team based upon what other teams are doing or how much other teams are spending. sheesh

We will see...clearly we are building though the draft no FA. The only deal I liked the Raiders making with the Irvin deal to be honest. Big FA buys don't always make for great teams (Philly's "dream team" comes to mind) a lot of those dudes don't play like they did when they were hungry for a contract.

Pick up Schwartz, Hayward, Freeman, trade Kap for at least a 2nd and let's go up and get your boy Goff

Dude, I don't know which Raiders deal you like or don't like,but what I do know is they made their team a tonne better after those moves. They now have a legit pass rush with the Mack/Irvin tandem and a fortified O-line to protect the QB and of course led by the up and coming Derek Carr. I don't know about you bro, it looks like a team on the rise to me.

Listen we couldn't even beat them in 2014, no way in hell we can beat them now. Our roster now is weak as sh*t. Even if we draft Goff, he alone can't turn around such a train wreck by himself.

In all seriousness, we should all recognize that if they use Kaep correctly, rely on the run and defense, he might get a chance at another title.
