Kap is a MUCH better option for the broncos then any of the other QB's out there. He could step in and immediately be an upgrade over what they had last year.

The FO is bad and has a bad rep. That is sure to turn people off then you throw in the Chip Kelly part which I'm sure plays a little into it.
Build through the desft has always been my philosophy. Plus a lot of these guys are getting way over paid

That's a great point. If we're parting with Kap, definitely need to make sure we position ourselves to land Wentz or Goff.
I think there's a good chance we can sit at 7 and still land Goff, but I'd watch out for the Rams. They might make a big move into the Top 10 to grab a QB. They have nothing at the position.
That Denver 2nd could move the 49ers up to Pick #4 pretty much. That would guarantee a QB or an elite prospect like Buckner or Ramsey.

Harbaugh always wanted to stay with the 9ers, he wanted an extension, a raise and better control of the roster as Baalke was fxxking it up. In the end he was in effect fired from the 9ers and after that he went with his heart and signed with Michigan.

I want their 31st pick OR a 2nd this year and next (depending on playing time)....Broncos have zero leverage in this. We don't have to get rid of Kap and have a butt load of cash with him still on the team.
True, and that's probably what the Niners will say at the negotiating table. Comes down to how bad the Broncos want him.
Baalke is playing hard ball and unless he get's what he wants then I'm fine with keeping him on the team, we clearly aren't hurting for cash lol.

The Broncos will pay up, they are desperate as fxxk now.
I agree, if we press them hard enough they will part with a 2nd rd pick. It's at the bottom of the 2nd rd too, so still basically a 3rd. But I don't see us getting anything higher than a 2nd for Kap. Denver is the perfect option, they desperately need a veteran starter.

lol they would never do that. Just sign RGIII and draft a QB
