With Willhoite going on IR, the team will get a good look at Hodges for the rest of the season. I thought he looked very solid last week.

kind of reminds me of a young Jack Lambert.
Hodges better not blow any coverages.

I'm hearing that #49ers ILB Michael Wilhoite suffered a stress fracture after having MRI.

More hodges.. excited to see what he can do with more playing time

This. Wilhoite going to IR and Hodges is the starter now. Makes sense now why we brought Skov back

I imagine they sign a TE now since Celek is on IR, meaning we only have Vance and Bell on the active roster at TE.

it's funny at the start of the season we had too many TE's. Than we traded 2 and don't have enough.

Whatever happened to that Grimble guy?

Another brilliant move by Baalke, those 6th rounders are worth it.

And we got Devey for Derek Carrier!

No words can describe the depth of Baalke's genius.
Now if only Pears could get a stress fracture. Not sure why the coaching staff has to wait until someone is injured to replace a less than serviceable player.

Right lol.
Seriously though, I think TE Xavier Grimble may be available...

He's on Pittsburgh's practice squad right now.

I thought he looked fast and physical. He made some bad reads and appeared to fill incorrect gaps on his run fits on occasion.

Right lol.

I don't like to wish for any player (especially ours) to get hurt, but I don't know what else could possibly get some live reps for Brown at this point. It's possibly my single greatest source of frustration with the offensive staff.
this is Hodges chance to make an impression for a role on the team, next year and beyond, and I'm cheering for him to succeed, but I still want us to grab another ILB in the draft to groom as a future starter , maybe a mid rounder to add depth, but hopefully Hodges takes this opportunity to lock down the position , he still has a bit of upside left to improve his craft
