WR DeAndre Smelter - 132nd overall pick

I'd give Smelter another shot, but I'd also resign Streater,
He came on strong towards the end when he started getting PT, solid ST gunner as well

Mr.Rogers should be back, at the time of injury he was the talk of training camp
Burbridge will have a year under his belt

Not sure what to do about Kerley and Ellington, keep one or the other
I'd consider trading Torrey, Im a big fan of his, but send him somewhere that aint in re-build mode

Not a fan of whats on the FA market, Jeffrey will resign, Floyd's a drunk, Both Jackson's getting old

I do like Garcon, especially if we hire his OC as our HC

Keep Kerly, Ellington is oft injured

Good call on Garcon

Streater over Smelter, and Kerley over Ellington.

Bingo

Yup. And let Rogers compete. Now we might have some decent depth. But the goal now is to find that dominant ZWR that can raise the entire unit.
If we can get everybody back from injury, and draft a guy- I think we're ok at the position. Streater, was NOT used properly or enough and Smelter did show flashes in the last 2 games enough to warrant a final look next year..I say keep them all, and draft a guy and settle the position.
I've watched every single live 1on1 and he has yet to drop a pass...scoring TDs, winning jump balls, etc. plays all 3 positions per Kyle. His routes look a billion times better too. I see Patrick and the veteran brought in as size guys who are here to keep him challenged and focused. It worked...he looked great today so far.

Keep your eye on him, Bolden and Bourne for that 6th.

I wouldn't even count out Patrick; tall dude with nice physicality, something Kyle covets for outside ZWR's.

Good to see. Haven't heard much about Smelter but always hoped he can be demaryius thomas type

I'd be elated if he can be only a poor man's Demerius Thomas.

I'm hoping he earns a roster spot
This is an excellent competition to watch.
I remember coming out of college one of his main strengths was blocking. His college program was predominantly a running one.
His skill set is really all we're missing right now. I hope he keeps impressing. He looks like an actual receiver now, something Kyle noted too. If not, we'll have to rely more of players like Kittle and Hulikini in the RZ when we run fades.
