Honestly, at this point if we rule out signing players who beat women we'd have to avoid half of the league. It's an epidemic lol.

In all honesty, greg Hardy called the cops on her twice! He went to a club and she scene made a scene. He left, and she threw herself in front of his car. He called and the club called the police. Then she followed Hardy to his place, where allegedly he beat her. Now Hardy is a huge dude. If he beat her, she'd be beat the hell up, yet she had zero bruises or scratches

I get your frustration. Woman beating is wrong but had he beaten her she would have barely made it to the hospital. We are all quick to judge in this society. Sometimes over protective of our women. For the typical guy there has become a double standard. As to sports I say all the time how I miss the hatred and the testosterone. I miss 90s NBA and NFL. Let's get back to playing the brutal games and building teams the way it is supposed to be done. If ladies want to be in the locker room fine. Just don't cry about it if I got my Johnson swinging all up in your grill. Just hold the mic look me in the eye and take it. Let guys be guys and stop riding us about being ourselves. Folk are trying to shame us for being us at every turn it seems. They want us to be the metrosexuals of their dreams when I'm all about the brawn and the brute. Actually, Greg Hardy WAS convicted. He only got off on a technicality in his appeal. So his conviction was not over-turned based on evidence. And how funny that you say, "oh he only put his hands around her throat and threatened to kill her" Oh lord, what is wrong with people these days. She also testified that he picked her up and threw her into the tile floor and she was covered in bruises from head to toe, and the judge evidently saw evidence to support that.

Had he done all of this he should have been punished. I don't condone that but if he got off then the laws of our land has ruled him innocent. Innocent so why wouldn't Trent exploit yet another market inefficiency for another talented player. PR be damned we have to win. Had he been convicted I say no way but if he got off then he is in play IMO. I get the trepidation but we are now a laughingstock anyway despite all the good players we've had here the media chooses to focus on any indiscretions we've had. Smh. This is football and if any of you remember high school you know all the players on the team weren't choir boys. Hell I fought with guys on Wednesday to the point of nearly injuring guys or myself behind the scenes but come Friday nite I was rooting them on because they were Indians (my high school team). For me like the guy or not I repped my team and I put personal issues aside.

I don't want to go overboard here but I just want us to win and I am willing to make some reasonable concessions in order to do it. Make the "exception" Trent

Now I agree when you say it like that. I ain't about to name call a fellow poster but there is no reason to straight up manhandle a woman. Its disgusting! Like I said though if the courts ruled him innocent who are we to say otherwise? I didn't review the evidence so I defer to those that have. I'm torn but I know I want to win

The courts didn't exactly rule him innocent. The court ruled him guilty, he appealed, and his former girlfriend refused to testify. So he won his appeal on a technicality.

Maybe I am jumping the gun here, because I haven't reviewed the evidence first hand, but if he did do that stuff, he's a total piece of s**t. I mean, look at severe punishment Aldon Smith got, and he didn't assault anyone. I think the NFL is right to have a personal code of conduct, and people that beat up their wives and girlfriends should be banned.
