He just doesn't get it that nobody wants his team-wrecking ass.

I'm still sour in the manner he left us , we needed him, we had very little offensive firepower at that time, and his selfishness forced the trade that netted us a 4th round pick and Brandon Whiting ...plus I still cant believe how our front office got pushed around in that situation, they acted like that was the best deal we could get?? ...even if we took a chance on him , he would whine and complain about playing time, and eventually throw Kaep and Harbaugh under the bus ...it's always somebody elses fault with T.O ...

Trent would have gotten a king's ransom for him

Not so much a rumor:

Kevin Seifert ‏@SeifertESPN
One of the most mysterious flameouts ever RT @ESPNNFL: THIS JUST IN: The NY Giants have released QB Josh Freeman.

I read somewhere he has trouble with learning the playbook and very slow to absorb information? ...I bet Kevin Gilbride got tired of babying him

I'm still sour about the way Terell Owens was treated while he was here, after playing his ass off for this team. The guy had a work ethic that was unbelievable. I remember one of the knocks against him early was his speed. He spent the whole offseason training, and you could see a huge difference the next season. He wasn't a 1st round pick or a "sure thing" NFL receiver. He worked hard and earned what he got. Owens says give me the ball, and we'll win. He's labeled a selfish player. Owens has an issue with his Quarterback, and he's labeled a locker room cancer.

I remember another 49er with an incredible work ethic. He also said give me the ball and we'll win - and more loudly than Owens did. He also had a huge issue with his Quarterback - a HOFer by the way, not Jeff Garcia. His name is Jerry Rice.

Owen's was a me first, team second, child every single place he went his entire career. He was the prototype for the modern locker room cancer who thought that just by virtue of being talented at catching and running he should be able to call the plays, dictate personel, be catered too non-stop and make so much money the team is crippled to sign other players ...oh yeah and despite getting his way on all that he still would get pissy and have sideline fits because his team wasn't winning. His mouth and attitude were so seldom worth his considerable talent that he got kicked off of every team he ever played on and everyone of those locker rooms was happy to see him go.

Rice never threw the fans, coaches and QB's under the bus ...yes he had his competitive side, but never to the point where he was labeled a locker room distraction, Rice cared about winning and had a fire inside of him ...after awhile, T.O stopped being a team player and was all about T.O

Um, ask Steve Young if he felt like Rice threw him under the bus. Willing to bet the answer there would have been a "hell yes". And the fans threw T.O. under the bus, not the other way around.
