LOL. On a more serious note, I'd be more inclined to try out Culliver (who may be more ideal there with everything in front of him) there with Spillman and top draft pick and let Rogers/Nnamdi go at it and the loser move to the slot (or compete there as well).

I did bring up Nnamdi to FS b/c in an interview, Whitner noted him first and then Dahl and others as potential replacements for Goldson. Interesting...

Nnamdi was a pretty amazing tackler with oakland. He was s**tty at everything in philly and I blame coaching and scheme for that... Their whole defense was super talented and failed miserably.. And it wasn't cause all those good players magically lost all their talent. Nnamdi will do just fine

I agree i think people are going to see a Nnamdi they thought was extinct this season. The big question would be, can he continue playing at a high level if we brought him back after this season.

Culliver seems like a natural as his greatest problem last year was tracking when covering with his back to the ball. As a FS he would be able to play more facing the QB and free lancing. He played the position successfully in college so it is definitely a possibility. But at the same time I really like his ability to stick with guys. Seems to be a glut at CB and I'm not as down on Rogers or Culliver as many are.

Statistics can say one thing.. But I watched him play alot when he was a raider and all my friends are raider fans and would always talk about his tackling. Statistics can be a joke.. I was reading somewhere on here earlier that Tim tebow was on one of the highest QBR of all time in playoffs. That's a joke lol I think it was on the kaep thread

Whitner did say that the secondary is only as good as the front 7. Let us hope our front gets healthy, reloaded and balls out this year!! Then I think we will get decent play from our backend

The stat you referred to regarding Tebow was for a one game performance. The Nnamdi stat the article refers to references two seasons. Big difference.

You say you watched 'him play a lot' during his Raider days, well then you watched a lot more Raider football than I did. If you want to go with your eyeball test, that's fine.
