In his prime yes, but at this point I would say shady is the better RB.

This actually doesnt sound all that bad. I've been away from my computer lately, so sadly, today is the first I've heard of his signing. We got Colt as well for a late rounder, and Dawson?
Need to spend some time on the boards tonight I guess.
But would love to see Woodson come to SF to close out his carrer. Even just a one year deal and only as a situational guy, I think he could not only add a new element to the D and the secondary, but teach the younger guys the craft that he has perfected since leaving OAK.
I mean 49ers players tend to end there runs either in Oak or KC (if a qb), why not have all the quality db's finish up here?

Matt Maiocco @MaioccoCSN 13m CB Nnamdi Asomugha's deal with 49ers accounts for $1.775 million on 2013 salary cap (49ers are $1.714 under cap). http://bit.ly/YdNSb6

Well that should wrap up free agency then.

I would hope so. The draft is just a little over 2 weeks away. They need to be thinking about that 24/7 right now.

We aren't going to draft 14 players, and I don't think players taken after the 4th round count against the cap.

I find it extremely unlikely we use all 14 picks.
