Washed up. Hope they cut him before the final 53 man roster.

I can't wait to see what a motivated Asomugha looks like this season. Has he really slipped or was he just not comfortable in Philly?

wrong defensive system

And those dumb ass Eagles fans do nothing but blame the player. If your coaching staff doesnt put you in correct position to succeed then your confidence will disappear. 49er fans should know what that's like to watch players misused and blamed. We play his style of defense all across the board...I do not mind having 5 starting caliber corners on the roster. Let em make each other better players.

That was true in 2011 but last year the eagles started implementing a lot more man and press coverage in their scheme to suit Asomugha's talents and he was still getting burned. He looked to lack his recovery speed that he once had and wasn't nearly as physical. Hopefully his decline can be attributed to his lack of confidence in being on a bad team and another failed year to make the playoffs for him personally (Takeo Spikes anyone). I can only pray that him joining one of the elite defenses will unlock whatever he has left in the tank if anything.

New team and coach should be rejuvenating.
Plus a better DLine rotation for us will also give the secondary an advantage.

they had a ton of all star players on those teams and almost all of them sucked with the eagles. pretty sure it was the coaching/scheme
We'll just have to wait and see. Nnamdi could be the Braylon Edwards or Ahmad Bradshaw of 2013. Hope he's more like Carlos Rogers signing.

i actually forgot the point made a couple pages back that Nnamdi was being coached by their former Offensive coach. Sure he knows the game, but to have an OC come in and coach the D in midstroke....almost makes you wonder just exactly what were they smoking in Philly?

Yeah. I mean, when you make a Offensive line coach the D coordinator, you are selling the players short.
