Enough about goddamn Michael Seahawk Robinson! This thread is about Ricardo Niner Lockette.
"He's one of the fastest guys on the team and I've been trying to keep up with him," Kaepernick said of Lockette.
If Lockette and Jenkins develop into good route runners, the Niners already have their stretch-the-field guys on the roster.

i dont have much hope for this guy, i'll give him a clean slate but from what i've seen his hands are like feet. harbs might be trying extra hard to get something outta him cus carroll couldnt, a little pay back for him getting good mileage out of a couple of stanford kids that got over looked by the niners.

I don't know that Sherman was overlooked. I think Harbaugh just didn't like his attitude. He was a complainer at Stanford. Now in the case of Baldwin, I think Harbaugh did underestimate him. But, look at how both of them have acted since they became Seahawks. They're not exactly what I would call stand-up guys. Harbaugh likes stand-up guys.

i really like that Ricardo became Kap's shadow since the end of the season.
i believe he will not only make the team but will become a great weapon for Colin

its gonna be very tough for him to make it, but if he sticks around on the PS or whatever, he could replace Boldin/Manningham. (depth chart wise)

You....are correct, sir... Hunter had the torn Achilles and K Williams had a torn ACL. Incidentally, Manningham tore 2 knee ligaments so his status for this season is really up in the air. He won't be ready for training camp and he probably goes on the PUP list to start the season.
Another thing....Lockette sat on the Seattle PS for a year before coming to the Niners so he has already spent a fair amount of time on NFL practice fields. Unless he made a huge jump this off-season, I just don't see him making the team...and I don't believe he has any PS eligibility left. Just sayin'.

Wow....I didn't realize this. Manningham's injury was severe....perhaps even career ending...and he was already heading towards the turf when he was hurt. The Niners need to dish some hurt out to the Seacowards this year. I hate that BS type of play.

There's no other way to say it - they're a dirty team run by a coach with a history of dirty tricks and cheating. And, man do they deserve to fade this year.

I may be wrong, but I think you're referring to Ricardo Lockette as "trash." You're going to eat those words. Lockette is a friend of the Kaepernick family. He's been working with Kaepernick and he's got maximum motivation. He's 6'2" and runs in the 4.3's. He's a track star and Kaepernick has been running track with him to get faster (as if he needs to.) Kaepernick thinks Lockette is the fastest player on the team. If Lockette can learn to run good routes and consistently catch the ball, he and Jenkins will both be stretch the field kinds of guys. And, let's face it - the Niners have a great coaching staff.
As always, I have high hopes.
