Goodell must have felt the pressure to bring the hammer down on Aldon with the Ray Rice ass reaming he just had.

personally it would be good the player, but no they shouldnt expect a break because they went to rehab. goddell should have never infered he would take it into account. i never felt he was going to.

It was never going to be 2-3 games lol. Dude has gotten in trouble way too often. I think 6 would have been reasonable but after Ray Rice fiasco - I'm not really surprised he got hit with couple more games.
Hopefully this sent him a clear warning. Aldon has no one but himself to blame.

look i think rice should have got a few more games, but it was his 1st incident, prior he had been a great guy image wise for the league. aldon has pretty much been a stain on the league since he came into it. like real life, you're either one of the boys or you're not. when roger has his chance to smack a guy whos been a stain, he makes a statement.
