Exactly what I was thinking. I don't understand why they let him through security, only to track him down at the gate. At that point, I can sorta understand why Aldon would feel they're gunning for him. Still, he acted like an idiot to get himself arrested in the first place. The blame still lies on him.

We didn't get Desean because his price was too high. The Eagles released him because they thought his behavior was counter productive to what Kelly was trying to build in PHI. Aldon had had run ins with the law but he has not been in any way a bad teammate or cancer. The only way he has affected this team is when his run ins with the law cause him to miss time on Sundays whether it be voluntarily or involuntarily

Yep, it's all a bunch of BS. It's VERY likely they were targeting him due to his celebrity status. Unless there is hard evidence that he staged a phony bomb threat this will be let go.

LAX police say Aldon Smith was booked on charges of "False report of a bomb threat." He allegedly made comment while going thru screening.

it says "appeared to be"... doesn't that mean they didn't do any tests or anything, so they can't get him on public intoxication or whatever it would be? i dont really know much about this stuff
